Snow Fungus has been highly valued in Asia for its nourishing and hydrating effects, particularly for the lungs. Rich in fibre, amino acids, and vitamins B, D, and E, snow fungus is believed to improve skin texture. In TCM, snow fungus has sweet and neutral properties. It is used to nourish yin in order to moisten the lung, tonify blood in the stomach and promote secretion of saliva. It also manages consumptive cough and speeds up recovery from illness and fatigue.
